Do I need an API key for AI?

No. On Standard and Pro you can add VoltexAI Managed AI — no key needed, we handle it, with a monthly action allowance. If you already have an OpenAI or Anthropic key, bring that instead and pay those APIs at their rates.

Does voltexai.app catch calendar conflicts automatically?

Overlapping events on the same calendar are flagged in the calendar and on the daily briefing. We do not move, decline, or reschedule anything for you. A packed day also gets a meeting-overload banner.

We do not host your mailboxes. Encryption at rest (AES-256-GCM) and HTTPS in transit apply to the copy we keep so the product can work.

FAQ

Do I have to connect lots of accounts?

No. One mailbox is enough to start. Plans go up to 5 mailboxes on Standard and 20 on Pro — that is a cap, not a minimum.

Is this only for technical people?

No. This page is the opposite of that. If you already pay for an API key and want that bill to stay yours, use the BYOK comparison instead.

Can I skip AI?

Yes. Mail, calendar, and tasks work without it. Managed AI is there on Standard and Pro when you want a summary or a draft without setting anything up.
